How to Use the Clinical Tab

The Clinical Tab is your facility’s resident directory and main dashboard in the Circadia Intelligence Platform (CIP).

Updated over 3 months ago

The Clinical Tab consolidates every admitted patient into one easy-to-navigate table, bringing together real-time Circadia monitoring with PCC charting. This view helps staff stay organized, prioritize care, and streamline workflows.

What’s in the Clinical Tab

  • Patient List
A complete roster of all admitted patients, displayed in one table for quick reference. Each entry includes key identifiers such as name, room, and admission details.

  • Flags
Any SBAR reports generated by Circadia appear directly in the table, keeping escalations visible and accessible.

  • Latest Vitals
Breathing rate, heart rate, and PCC vitals (including BP, SpO₂, etc.) with timestamps. This ensures staff know exactly when the most recent bedside readings were taken.

  • Quick Actions
    Built-in tools let staff:

    • Add to Watchlist for closer tracking.

    • Open Patient Profile for deeper insights.

    • Mark as Reviewed to acknowledge a report or clear completed items.

How to Use the Clinical Tab

  • Search – Use the search bar at the top to quickly find patients by name or room number.

  • Sort – Click any column header (e.g., Admission Date, Room, BP, SpO₂, RR) to reorder the list and bring the most relevant patients to the top.

  • Filter by Insurance – Narrow the view by payer type using the Insurance column, helpful for audits or payer-specific reporting.

Why the Clinical Tab Matters

  • Centralized View – All patients, vitals, and flags in one place, reducing the need to jump between systems.

  • Efficiency – Saves time during rounds, shift changes, and daily reviews by putting the most important information front and center.

  • Prioritization – Sorting and filtering options help staff identify which patients need immediate attention.

  • Consistency – Provides every team member with the same standardized patient list, reducing communication errors.

✨ Think of the Clinical Tab as your mission control for patient care — a single, reliable directory where you can monitor, filter, and act on the latest patient information with confidence.
