Follow this streamlined process for successful adoption:
The Administrator or Director of Nursing must be set up and logged in.
Set up your preferences for notifications. We highly recommend opting in for just-in-time text notifications so you can stay on top of the latest flags.
When you get the text, click on the link with the flag and mark it as reviewed.
Review and share the flag details in an existing or new group chat with your nursing team.
Ask your nursing team to conduct a head-to-toe assessment and escalate to the attending provider.
During the morning meeting, review to see which patients had a Change of Condition or Transfer Out.
If Circadia flagged ahead of time, use this as an educational opportunity for your team. If there was no follow-up to a flag, review with your team to understand why.
